Mark is a Director at the Urbanists - a planning, landscape architecture and urban design practice based in Cardiff and Bristol.  He has extensive planning experience across the development sectors including health, energy, education, residential, infrastructure, and commercial development, for both public and private sectors.  Specialist consultancy expertise includes environmental impact assessment, heritage, and green infrastructure.  He has a track record over the past 25 years of securing planning permissions for complicated development projects, assembling compelling cases to enable a robust planning decision.

He is RTPI Cymru Executive Chair 2026, and a member of the RTPI Policy and Research Forum.
