Chris heads up Wind2’s site search team, identifying and assessing opportunities for large and medium-scale renewable energy projects. Working closely with landowners and their advisers, Chris and his team focus on building strong, collaborative relationships from the outset.

Chris has extensive experience across all stages of renewable energy project development, from site identification through to delivery and operation. This breadth of experience gives him a strong understanding of the opportunities and challenges involved in developing successful renewable energy projects.

A Mechanical Engineer, Chris joined Wind2 from ENGIE, where he developed a range of renewable energy projects and portfolios across onshore and offshore wind, solar and battery storage. He was latterly a statutory Director of ENGIE UK’s onshore wind portfolio, managing the asset management team and overseeing activities including wind farm project financing.

Prior to ENGIE, Chris developed wind farms for West Coast Energy as an Engineer and Project Manager, before going on to head up its Technical Department.

Chris is an active in a number of industry groups, including RenewableUK Cymru’s Strategy Group, and was an early board member of the wind industry’s Aviation Investment Fund Company Ltd.
